Szlachetna Paczka in Dyckerhoff Poland: Together we helped Ms. Aleksandra and her family

This year, Dyckerhoff Polska once again took participate in the Szlachetna Paczka - a unique initiative that makes a real difference in the the lives of families in need. Thanks to the commitment of our employees, we managed to collected not only more than 4,000 PLN, but also many needed products, Which together we packed into beautiful Christmas packages.

The heroine of this year's Szlachetna Paczka was Ms.Alexandra, who is raising four children alone after the sudden death of her husband - the only breadwinner in the family. the only breadwinner in the family. Until recently, their life was peaceful and full of warmth, but today Mrs. Aleksandra is struggling with daily challenges, trying to provide her children with decent living conditions.

Her oldest daughter, Daria, is preparing for the high school diploma, Wojciech is attending the Adult School Complex, Eve is getting a vocational education, and the youngest Judith, the family's four-year-old spark, attends kindergarten. Despite the difficulties, Ms. Aleksandra's family is full of love and mutual support, which was an inspiration to us when preparing the parcel.

The preparations for the campaign involved many employees of Dyckerhoff Poland. Together we raised funds that allowed us to purchase the most necessary things - from food, cleaning products and school supplies school supplies to special gifts for each family member. In addition, employees spontaneously brought donations to the conference room, which quickly turned into a into a gift-wrapping center. The involvement in the wrapping was equally touching - the joyful conversations, cooperation and feeling that together we were doing something really important, created a unique atmosphere. What's worth adding, together we packed 38 packages.

The moment of handing over the package was full of emotions. The donors -Dyckerhoff employees decided topersonally deliver the gifts to the family, which was an exceptional gesture. The number of of prepared packages exceeded the family's expectations - under the Christmas tree there was starting to be running out of space!

The youngest Judyta enthusiastically opened her gift, and her wide smile was our greatest reward. Mrs. Alexandra, surprised by the number of gifts, opened her gift with tears of emotion. Eve watched her loved ones' reactions with a smile, planning to unwrap her gift in private. When her older siblings - Daria and Wojciech - returned home and saw the packages waiting for them, they were stunned with disbelief. They found it hard to believe that strangers could have such good hearts and be so committed to helping their family. Their emotion and gratitude were heartbreaking.

This day was special not only for Ms. Alexandra's family, but also for our employees. On behalf of the family and the volunteers, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this success. May this goodness return to you with redoubled strength. As Małorzata Musierowicz used to say, “Kindness breeds kindness, and the greatest joy is to give joy to others.”
