Dyckerhoff Polska and Kielce University of Technology – Together in a Jubilee Year
This year marks the 60th anniversary of two exceptional institutions – the Kielce University of Technology and Dyckerhoff Polska. It is a unique combination of academic tradition and industrial experience. Two stories – of a university educating generations of engineers and of a company developing modern construction technologies – intertwine into a tale of passion, innovation, and shared values.
Celebration and Cooperation
Dyckerhoff Polska was delighted to join in the celebrations of the Kielce University of Technology’s anniversary. It is an honor for the company to participate in an event that highlights the importance of technical education, collaboration with industry, and the university’s role in the development of the region and the country. Our participation was a natural gesture – we have been cooperating with the University for many years, supporting research projects and initiatives that foster the growth of young engineering talent.
The Dyckerhoff Relaxation Zone – A Place That Lasts
To mark the jubilee, we prepared a special gift for the academic community – the Dyckerhoff Relaxation Zone located at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture. This space was created with students, lecturers, and all those in need of a break between classes in mind.
In the Zone, visitors could explore presentations of our products – cement and concrete – as well as enjoy comfortable deckchairs, beanbags, and tables. We also provided charging sockets for phones and laptops, so everyone could rest and recharge – both literally and figuratively.
The Zone was designed to serve the university not only during the celebrations but for years to come. We are proud to have left it as a permanent space for students – a symbol of our cooperation, gratitude, and shared commitment to creating an inspiring environment for learning and development.
An Inspiring Lecture
As part of the jubilee celebrations, a special lecture titled “Systems That Make a Difference – Quality, Environment, and Safety in One Structure” was held. The lecture was delivered by Krzysztof Smulczyński, Integrated Management System Representative at Dyckerhoff Polska. Participants learned about the practical aspects of integrated management of quality, environment, and occupational safety, and discovered how crucial it is to combine different operational areas into a cohesive system where every role matters.
A Future Built on Tradition
The Kielce University of Technology’s anniversary also provided an excellent opportunity to meet students and discuss career development opportunities at Dyckerhoff Polska. Young engineers had the chance to learn more about our company, internships, and career paths, as well as to see what modern construction based on quality and innovation looks like.
Building the Future Together
We would like to thank the academic community of the Kielce University of Technology for the invitation and excellent cooperation during the jubilee celebrations. We are proud to have celebrated together, sharing our experience, enthusiasm, and joy.
May this 60th anniversary mark the beginning of a new chapter of joint initiatives, and may the Dyckerhoff Relaxation Zone remain a lasting symbol of our presence in the heart of the campus.
