Dyckerhoff again among Forbes’ Diamonds

The second place in the region on the list of Forbes’ Diamonds 2010 in the large companies category / with sales revenues of more than 200 million zł / was awarded to Dyckerhoff Polska Sp. z o. o. The ranking of the "Forbes" commercial magazine distinguishes companies that increased their value most dynamically in 2005-2008.

The awards for the best companies of the Świętokrzyskie Provence were handed out at a gala dinner. A diploma was collected, on behalf of Dyckerhoff Polska Sp. z o. o., by the Director of Cement Sales and company’s Commercial Proxy, Rafał Krężelewski.

The meeting was also an opportunity for discussion with experts on building business value with the use of EU funds, bank loans, private equity funds or Stock Exchange.

The list of Forbes’ Diamonds is prepared based on the Swiss method of valuation of companies, taking into account their financial performance and value of property. This method allows the measuring of the potential of a business, taking into consideration its investments and ability to increase sales and profits. This ranking is created in cooperation with the Swiss business intelligence Dun & Bradstreet.

Only those companies which met the deadline of submitting the National Court Register (KRS) financial statements for the year 2009 and published them in Polish Monitor B were analysed when creating the summary. Companies in bankruptcy or liquidation were excluded, and only those with a positive financial result and hazard ratio of less than 4 evaluated by Dun & Bradstreet rating were selected. To maintain comparability of results, financial firms were not taken into account. The valuation of listed companies excluded their capitalization to avoid the impact of market speculation. The magazine granted the Forbes' Diamonds Awards for the fourth time.
