Technical information.

Because of planned participation in both road and cubature investments it was necessary to utilize equipment that could provide increased doses of aggregate fractions.

Therefore MOBILMAT Mo60/5, new basic machine with the row-type storage silo for 5 aggregate fractions, supplied with a Profisyster computer controlled steering system was utilized. Operating efficiency 60 cubic meters per hour. Mixer capacity 1500/1000 liters.

The plant is equipped with 3 new silos, 65 cubic meters each (ca 91 tons). The fourth 100-ton silo that was there already was repaired and put to use.

In total, the plant can store 3,500 cubic meters of aggregates. To neutralize concrete waste a concrete recycling system manufactured by C&B due, Italian company, was used. A 750 cubic meter reinforced concrete tank for slops that can function as a firewater tank according to fire safety regulations was designed. There are 2 water supplies (in case of a burst water pipe): a MPWiK water supply system and a drilled well at the location of the plant.

The plant was also decorated with greenery: Nordmann Fir and thuja. With the use of Norway Spruce a strip of protected greenery was created from the Miejska Street. The plant’s fence was made out of concrete prefabricated elements that function as acoustic screens. All this makes it a modern and functional plant, a greater whole with a part in the background. On seeing it many a time our clients ask if this really is a cement plant!

When the foundations for it were laid, an unexploded bomb dating back to World War II was found. It was a mine, the 2 Pułk Saperów from Cracow said. According to the procedure, all works were suspended and rescue teams notified. The unexploded bomb was removed and detonated on an artillery range.
