The cement plant in Nowiny nearby Kielce just completed a new environmentally friendly investment. The new bag filter reduces the emission of dust into the atmosphere by a few dozen times.

The last investment can be acknowledged as a world standard. The previous electro filter on rotary furnace 1 was replaced with a bag filter. It is a quality change for a cement plant – the emission of dust into the atmosphere has been reduced by a few dozen times. Before the modernization monitors used to record a 30 mg/Nm3 dust measurement. Now, it is 0.5 mg/Nm3.
