Dyckerhoff Polska among the Forbes Diamonds 2009

Dyckerhoff Polska Sp. z o.o. was put 3rd on the regional Forbes Diamonds 2009 list in the category of large businesses (i.e. whose sales revenues are over 200 mln PLN). The ranking of Forbes magazine awards enterprises that were increasing their value most rapidly in 2005-2007.

Awards for the best Kielce companies were given on an official dinner. Adam Dec, Personnel and Administration Manager, on behalf of Dyckerhoff Polska Sp. z o.o., was given a diploma. Thanking for it, he remarked that it was the result of the teamwork of the whole Company.

The meeting also was an opportunity to discuss how to build a company’s value with the use of European funding programs, bank loans, private equity funds, and the Stock Exchange with experts.

The list is composed on the basis of a Swiss method of company valuation that takes into account both the financial results and the value of the fixed assets. With this method, the capacity of the company can be measured in terms of the value of investment in progress and the ability to increase sales and profits. The ranking is created in cooperation with Dun&Bradstreet, the Swiss world’s leading source of business information.

Analyzed were companies that submitted their financial statements for the year 2007 to the National Court Register or published them in the Monitor Polski B. Ones put into bankruptcy or liquidation were eliminated. Then companies that had positive financial results and the coefficient of risk lower than 4 according to the ranking by Dun&Bradstreet were selected. To keep the comparability of results, financial companies were not taken into consideration. On evaluating stock exchange companies the capitalization was omitted so as to avoid the impact of market speculation.

The companies competed in 3 categories according to their sales revenues in 2007: small businesses (5-50 mln PLN), medium businesses (50-200 mln PLN) and large businesses (over 200 mln PLN).

It is the third time that the Forbes magazine has awarded companies Diamonds.
